Remembering Andy Price

A life spent putting others first

Across the Northern Territory's security, hospitality and events communities, Andy was known as a mentor, a leader and someone who answered the call. He advocated for safer workplaces and public spaces, helped others grow through his experience, and co-founded the NT Fight Series; creating opportunities for local fighters and bringing increasingly ambitious events to Darwin.

To those who knew him, Andy was often the first to put himself last. He made people feel protected, connected people who might never otherwise have met, and used his energy and influence to lift the people and society around him.

Like the conductor of an orchestra, Andy could bring very different people together, help each person find their part and turn many individual efforts into something larger and more powerful. That spirit, practical, generous and quietly focused on others, is what this proposed foundation hopes to carry forward.

Any future purpose and activities will be shaped carefully, in consultation with Andy's family, friends and the people who knew and valued him. This is an early expression of that intention. As the idea takes shape, thoughtful updates will be shared with those who would like to stay connected.
